Samsung Galaxy A73 5G features, price, and specifications made official for India fans
When it comes to smartphones, Samsung continues to have a solid fan base in India. And, that was indeed why there was huge excitement went the phone maker revealed its new A-series devices Galaxy A53 and Galaxy A33 some time ago.
Since then Samsung fans had been waiting to know more about their arrival and, of course, the price and specifications. When news got out that the Galaxy A53 and A33 were being joined by the much powerful the Galaxy A73 5G, the excitement had grown manifold. However, the price factor was still under wraps.
Samsung has now brought in some relief by announcing the that the Galaxy A73 5G will be available in India. It has also been revealed that the device would be priced at Rs 41,999 for the 8GB/128GB variant, while the 8GB/256GB version will come for Rs 44,999. Now, that’s something the Samsung fans would have been waiting to know.
To be outed in three hues in India, you will be able to choose between Awesome Mint, Awesome Grey, and Awesome White colours on your phone. The company is said to be planning an open sale for the device on its website on April 8 and 6PM IST. And, fascinatingly enough, if you are someone who would pre-book the device, you will be offered the Samsung Galaxy Buds Live for a price of Rs 499.
Samsung Galaxy A73 5G: Specifications galore
A 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED screen with 120 Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass 5 would be what the Samsung Galaxy A73 5G would walk in with. It looks like the company has been inspired by its own S-series phones when it thought of the Galaxy A73 design.
The phone will be driven by a Snapdragon 778G. On the camera front, it would boast a 108MP camera with OIS accompanied by a 12MP ultrawide camera, a 5MP depth camera and a 5MP macro camera. A 32MP front facing camera has also been thrown in to let you click awesome for selfies and for video. An IP67 certification, AKG-tuned stereo speakers and a hybrid dual-SIM slot are also included.
The Galaxy A73 will be powered by a 5000mAh battery that supports 25W charging. Android 12-based OneUI 4.1 is an out of the box feature. The phone also supports an in-display fingerprint scanner.
