Motorola Edge 30 Pro

Motorola Edge 30 is an economical mid-ranger smartphone.

Motorola had brought out Edge 30 Pro smartphone in February in India. While the gadget is officially recognized as the company’s flagship smartphone, Motorola is also working on a more economical mid-ranger called Edge 30. Leaked pictures reveal that the Edge 30 will carry a Snapdragon 778G+ SoC chip under its hood.

As per tipster Yogesh Brar on Twitter, Motorola Edge 30 Pro boasts a 6.55-inch FHD+ POLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. A Snapdragon 778G+ SoC will power it with 6GB and 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage options.

The device also boasts a rear triad camera. The triad includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 50-megapixel ultrawide sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The device will not disappoint selfie lovers since it also has a 32-megapixel sensor. The gadget will run on the Android 12 platform based on MyUX 3.0 out of the box.

Moto Edge 30 series to have two more devices

Additionally, Motorola is working on two more Edge 30 series devices versions. These devices are Edge 30 Ultra, which has been christened ’Frontier.’ The device has the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ SoC under its hood. The second iteration, Edge 30 Lite, will be powered by Snapdragon 695 SoC. It will also feature dual cameras, up to 8GB RAM, a 4020mAh battery, and 256GB of storage.

Moto Edge 30 Pro, which Motorola released in February, will carry a 6.7-inch FHD+ OLED display with 2400 × 1080 pixel resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The display will also be HDR10+ powered by octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 4nm Mobile Platform with Adreno next-gen GPU. The smartphone, which borders the premium range, will also feature 8GB LPDDR5 RAM with 128GB UFS 3.1 storage. It will work on the Android 12 platform and runs with MYUI 3.0.
