Thiruvananthapuram: In an effort towards providing vital information for the growth of startups, the Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM) has decided to set up Startup Facilitation Centres (SFC) in Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi and Kozhikode. The SFCs which would come up in these three cities initially would expand to other towns too.

The SFCs will offer services to startups in the areas such as registration, funding advisory, marketing, legal advisory, statutory compliances and HR services.  KSUM has invited Expressions of Interest (EoI) for empanelment from reputed agencies for providing services under the SFCs.

The empanelment will remain valid for a period of one to two years from the date of signing of the agreement. KSUM, the nodal agency of the Kerala government for entrepreneurship development and incubation activities in the state, would decide on extending empanelment for another one year on the basis of performance of the agencies.

The agency should have a minimum of two years’ experience of expertise in providing facilitation service support to companies. Agencies, which are having expertise in one or more than one areas, can apply for the EoI, KSUM sources said.

A pre-bid meeting will be held on December 3, at KSUM, Technopark Campus, Thiruvananthapuram. The agencies fulfilling the eligibility criteria can submit their application through the e-procurement portal.

KSUM has said that applications submitted only through the e-procurement portal on or before December 10 up to 3 pm will be considered for evaluation. The EoI would be opened on December 12 at 11 am.
