Redmi 10A and Redmi 10 Power arrive as budget offerings

The Indian shores have welcomed the new Redmi 10A and Redmi 10 Power smartphones. Closely connected in terms of design and other specs, the two devices have been generating much enthusiasm much ahead of launch.

Significantly, the Redmi 10A and Redmi 10 Power are budget devices, and the Redmi 10 A follows close on the heels of the recent Redmi 10. The two new phones boast a water drop notch on the front, and in it resides the selfie camera. Other similarities include the rectangular module that comprises the camera lenses, an LED flash, also a fingerprint sensor. The back panel in the Redmi 10A comes with a textured back panel that allows for a comfortable grip.

A 6.53-inch display with HD+ resolution, MIUI 12.5 custom skin, a 5MP front camera for selfies, 13MP primary shooter on the rear, 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging, and a MediaTek Helio G25 chipset complete the Redmi 10 A specs list. Meanwhile, the Redmi 10 Power has been endowed with a large 6,000mAh battery, Snapdragon 680 and a 6.71-inch display.

Redmi 10A and Redmi 10 Power: The price factor

For those who have been waiting to lay your hands on these two devices, here’s what the pricing would look like. The Redmi 10A has been priced at Rs 8,499 for the 3GB + 32GB model and Rs 9,499 for the 4GB + 64GB version. Made available in black and blue hues, the first sale will get underway on April 26. The device will be yours to pick at Mi.com, Mi Home, Amazon, and retail partners.

Meanwhile, the cost of the Redmi 10 Power 8GB + 128GB model would be Rs 14,999. Get it from Mi.com, Amazon, retail partners or Mi Home. The date of sale is still under wraps, though.
