The OnePlus Pad is all set to open pre-order in the North American and European markets by April this year.
It’s called the Pad. As simple as that. But OnePlus making its foray into the tablet domain may not be as simple as just naming its first device on that terrain. The company’s first tablet, called One Plus Pad, has made its first delivery, and it looks like the world will sit up and take notice of it.
Making its advent in the premium tablet segment, the device has all that it needs to be seen as a premium offering. Complete with a Dimensity 9000 chipset, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB UFS 3.1 storage, the OnePlus Pad would make you excited with its utmost distinct design.
The design is so good and different that the device stands head and shoulders above the tablet crowd. All set to open for pre-order in the North American and European markets by April this year, the device is also expected soon in India.
Thin bezels, laudable shooters
The display comes with 7:5 aspect ratio, and is an 11.61-inch 2800x2000px IPS LCD. The display sports variable refresh rate properties that pushes it up to 144Hz, we hear.
The OnePlus Pad arrives with very thin bezels, making it possible a 88.14 percent screen-to-body ratio. Turn it around and you would be amazed by the camera properties injected into the Pad.
The rear of the OnePlus Pad sports a 13-megapixel cam with 4K video capabilities. On the front, the company has thrown in an 8-megapixel 1080p shooter for all you selfie freaks and online video call enthusiasts.
Sound properties come prime on the Pad. The device comes with four inbuilt Dolby Atmos speakers, each having been placed on every corner of the tablet. Power juice flows in via a 9,510mAh battery that is hidden inside the OnePlus Pad.
OnePlus Pad is worth a buy
Now, that battery size would mean that the Pad would be able to stay alive and kicking for around 15 hours of video streaming. The rig recharges at 67W SuperVOOC speeds, and will be fully charged in just about 80 minutes. Isn’t that awesome?
The company is also offering essential accessories such as an additional Magnetic Keyboard, and the OnePlus Stylo that supports note-taking and drawing.
The additions are actually must haves, so that your Pad experience is seamless. We are just waiting know what OnePlus has in mind on the pricing front. Stay tuned, as we go looking for more info on that. In the meantime, check out details on pre-order here.
