Kochi: Urging investors to come forward to invest in Kerala so as to generate more employment opportunities and be a part of state’s economic activities, state Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan assured the business community that the government will extend all necessary assistance to the business community to set up their establishments.
Speaking while officially inaugurating the Lulu Cyber Tower-2 at Infopark in Kochi in the presence of a large gathering, he said that with the opening of the Lulu Cyber Tower, more than 11,000 additional employment opportunities will be created here and the total capacity of Infopark will also be enhanced, said CM.
The Chief Minister also termed the Lulu Cyber Tower 2 as a start to the efforts towards rebuilding a new Kerala, after the state had been battered by floods a few months ago.
Constructed at an investment of Rs. 400 crore, this is the second major investment by the Lulu Group in the IT sector of Kerala, after Lulu Cyber Tower 1, which already houses more than 20 prominent IT companies that employs more than 5,000 IT professionals.

The Lulu Cyber Tower 2 is located centrally in the Infopark Special Economic Zone and boasts of world class infrastructure; Easy connectivity to airport and other transport hubs; Ground plus 19 floors with a total area of more than 15 lakh sq. feet; Larger floor size of more than 85,000 sq. feet which offers seating capacity of more than 1,200 persons per floor; buildings with features like double gazed, energy efficient centrally air-conditioned building and uninterrupted power supply with 100% power back up; Multilevel car parking for more than 1,400 cars; As many as 16 high speed passenger elevators and 2 service lifts; Spacious food court with wide dining options, restaurants, coffee shop, party area, bank and ATMs; International Standard Gymnasium and yoga center; and World class training and conferencing facilities.
The new Lulu Cyber Tower 2 is expected to create job opportunities for more than 11,000 professionals with leading IT companies.
