Chennai: Kamal Haasan, who is currently hosting the television reality show Big Boss – Season 2, is reportedly all set to continue working on Sabaash Naidu, post which he will work on Indian 2. The trilingual movie, Sabaash Naidu, which is half complete is also an ambitious project of the actor who floated his political outfit recently. Indian 2, directed by Shankar, will go on the floors only after the director wraps up his much anticipated 2.0.
Another awaited movie of Kamal Haasan is the sequel of Vishwaroopam, titled Vishwaroopam 2. The trailer for the sequel was released recently and it had gone viral. The film is rumored to be set for a global release in August. It has been years since the shooting for the movie began, but was delayed due to financial difficulties.
Shoot for Sabaash Naaidu which began a few years ago had also got delayed due to various reasons. The shooting will resume as soon as Kamal Haasan wraps up Big Boss Season 2. The first schedule of the movie has been completed in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi in Los Angeles. The shoot got hindered as Kamal Haasan’s leg got fractured after he fell from the stairs of his office.
Sabaash Naidu will be a sequel of the character Balram Naidu from Dasavatharam. The 2008 movie Dasavatharam was a super hit with Kamal playing 10 different characters in the movie. Both Sabaash Naidu and Vishwaroopam 2 will be trilingual, and will be released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.
The upcoming Shankar- Kamal Haasan movie, Indian 2, announced a few months ago, is in the pre- production stage. There is news that the movie is set for release in 2020. Director Shankar who will soon make the official announcement of the movie is still working on the cast and crew of the flick. He is currently working on the movie 2.0 starring Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar. 2.0 is expected to hit the theaters in August.
