Thiruvananthapuram: Ace film maker Adoor Gopalakrishnan launched ‘LeninRajendran : Cinemayude Mazhayum Venalum’, by handing over a copy of the KeralaState Chalachitra Academy publication, to Deepa D Nair, MD, KSFDC, at the NilaTheatre.
The book edited by K P Jayakumar, was launched before the first screening under ‘Lenin Rajendran: Chronicler of Our Times’, the IFFK package of six films bythe widely acclaimed filmmaker. Following the launch, ‘Meenamasathile Sooryan’,was screened at the theatre.
Director and Kerala State Chalachitra Academy Chairman Kamal, film producersKaramana Hari, Mohandas, and B Rakesh, film editor B Ajith Kumar, AssociateDirector Nayana, all of who have associated with Lenin Rajendran, participated.
Five of the director’s other films – ‘Chillu’ (December 9 at 3.30pm), ‘Mazha’ on December 10 at 3.30 PM, ‘Swathi Thirunal’ on December 11 at 9 PM, ‘Vachanam’ on December 12 at 3.30PM and ‘Daivathinte Vikrithikal’ on December 13 at 3.30 PM – will be screenedat the Nila Theatre.
