Kochi: Kerala’s football line up Kerala Blasters has signed Indian forward Halicharan Narzary, who played for NE United in the last 3 ISL seasons.

Halicharan, who hails from Assam, has represented India in international tournaments in the U-19 category and the U-23 category, and also in the senior team. He has also played for clubs like Pailan Arrows, Dempo, FC Goa, DSK Shivajians and Northeast United FC. Narzary plays as an attacking midfielder. He has 17 appearances and a goal to his name with the Indian national team.

Varun Tripuraneni, CEO of Kerala Blasters said “We are delighted that Halicharan Narzary has joined us. With Sandhesh Jhinghan and Anas Edathodiga, the best defenders in Indian team on our side, Halicharan is another addition from the national team that will further strengthen the Kerala Blasters team this year. He is an exciting young talent and with David James at the helm, we are hopeful to witness some great performance from Halicharan in the upcoming season”.
